Oggi  ho voluto testare il funzionamento personalmente di Secure Gateway in ambiente Windows 2008 64-bit

Ho installato una macchina Windows 2008 64 bit in inglese, ho installato Secure Gateway 3.1: ho creato un certificato, lo ho importato ed ho proceduto alla configurazione standard del software.

Tutto funziona alla perfezione, anche se vedo che Secure Gateway gira nell’ambiente a 32-bit. Andando a leggere la documentazione Citrix, ho trovato il pdf dell’administrator Guide aggiornato che riporta;

Upgrading from earlier versions of Secure Gateway or Secure Gateway Proxy on the Windows Server 2008 platform is not supported. You must perform a fresh installation of Secure Gateway or Secure Gateway Proxy in this case.

Quindi niente Upgrade , mi raccomando.

Important: Secure Gateway runs as a 32-bit application on 64-bit versions of
the Windows Server 2008 operating system.

Come avevo visto nel mio server!.
