  1. When %APPDATA% is redirected to a UNC path (as opposed to mapped to a local drive), applications fail to launch after the initial launch.

    [#212171]

  2. Streamed instances of Microsoft Dynamics GP fail to launch, with the msdynamicssl.exe process pegging the CPU at 99% while the splash screen is displayed.

    [#213993]

  3. Clicking a hyperlink in a streamed instance of Microsoft Outlook can cause Internet Explorer to exit unexpectedly.

    [#220434]

  4. Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on CTXSBX.SYS with bugcheck code 8E.

    [#221099]

  5. Servers might experience a fatal exception displaying a blue screen, on CTXSBX.SYS while streaming applications.

    [#222381]

  6. Fonts fail to load with Microsoft Office 2010 applications.

    [#222823]

  7. When streaming a profiled package to Version 5.2 of the plug-in, the following error message might occur: “An error occurred while importing the registry settings for your application.”

    [#222931]

  8. Office applications can fail to launch on Windows Vista Workstation when the application profiles are linked with other profiles and “Enable user updates” is configured. One of the following error messages might appear: “Runtime Error! … An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application’s support team for more information;” “This application failed to start because MSCVR80.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.”

    [#224137]

  9. When invoking Internet Explorer, published in an application isolation environment and as “streamed to server,” by clicking an http, https, or mms hyperlink, Internet Explorer does not launch from the isolation environment.

    [#225987]

  10. When deselecting a postexit script from a profile, the remaining scripts configured for the profile fail to run.

    [#226253]

  11. In pooled desktop environments, streamed applications can exit unexpectedly.

    [#227338]

  12. This fix addresses the following issues:
    • A print job fails when printing a Microsoft Word document to an autocreated printer using the Universal Printer Driver V. 3.0 from an isolated instance of explorer.exe.
    • Attempts to launch applications that use file type association from an isolation environment can fail and the following error message appears: “The operating system is not presently configured to run this application”

    [#228274]

  13. Temporary files, such as RAD*.tmp, created while a streamed application launches, are not automatically deleted when the application launch completes.

    [#229491]

  14. RadeLauncher.exe can experience an exception of type 0xc0000006 on ShellExecuteHook.dll when run in a Hot Desktop environment.

    [#229942]

  15. Temporary files created by streamed applications are not removed from the %TEMP% folder if the %TEMP% folder is redirected to a network share.

    [#230974]

  16. Configuring SandboxStatusMonitorPeriod with a value of 0 as described in Knowledge Center article CTX123073 causes the RadeLauncher.exe process to consume up to 100% of CPU power, depending on the number of concurrent connections.

    [#231062]

  17. The presence of prelaunch or postexit scripts in a profile can cause the offline plug-in to exit unexpectedly.

    [#231234]

  18. Streamed instances of Crystal Reports fail to launch.

    [#231838]

  19. RadeLauncher.exe can exit unexpectedly while launching applications.

    [#232337]

  20. Users can get random “Access is Denied” errors when attempting to launch applications that are streamed to server.

    [#232732]

  21. The memory consumption of the RadeSvc.exe process increases steadily as threads in the process increase with the number of users logging on but do not decrease accordingly when users log off.

    [#232783]

  22. The profiler fails to save profiles configured to include DLLs in profile prelaunch or postexit scripts.

    [#233630]

  23. In Hot Desktop environments, launching an application profiled to run prelaunch and postexit scripts causes both the prelaunch and postexit scripts to run simultaneously.

    [#233892]

  24. The Streaming Service can prevent sessions from closing, eventually rendering the server unresponsive.

    [#233991]

  25. Momentary network disconnects when starting an application can cause the application launch to fail.

    [#234140]

  26. Microsoft Office applications can be slow to start when streamed with Version 6.0 of the plug-in.

    [#234177]

  27. When the launch of a streamed application is unusually long, postexit scripts can run before the application launches.

    [#234318]

  28. Microsoft Office applications can be slow to start when streamed with Version 6.0 of the plug-in. The issue is experienced by domain users but not by users with local administrator rights.

    [#234598]

  29. Opening a local file with an associated application that is streamed to client can cause the application to exit unexpectedly.

    [#234653]

  30. The Ink tool of Microsoft Visio does not behave as expected. Once selected, it prevents mouse clicks within the application.

    [#234854]

  31. Invalid characters appear in the offline plugin pop-up menu after clicking Cancel when asked for credentials for the profile share.

    [#234855]

  32. This fix addresses the following two issues:
    • Launching precached streamed applications can take longer than expected.
    • Microsoft Visio can become unresponsive while inserting charts.

    [#235458]

  33. When launching a Microsoft Office, an error message can appear, stating that Windows Internet Explorer 4 or later is required to launch Microsoft Office Outlook.

    [#235942]

  34. The Streaming Service can become unresponsive or exit unexpectedly when streaming certain applications.

    [#236596]

  35. In some configurations, the following error appears when launching a streamed application: “An error occurred while importing registry settings for your application.” The issue occurs after upgrading to a more recent version of the plug-in. This fix corrects the issue for this plug-in going forward. However, on computers where an older version of the plug-in is installed, Citrix recommends that you uninstall the older version before installing this version.

    [#236776]

  36. This fix addresses an issue that can cause streamed applications to exit unexpectedly.

    [#236969]

  37. Servers can experience fatal exceptions on ctxsbx.sys.

    [#237321]

  38. Servers can experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on CtxSbx.sys.

    [#238104]

  39. Temporary files created by the Citrix Streaming Service in the user’s Temp folder fail to be removed after launching a streamed application.

    [#238793]

  40. Downloads of applications streamed to client display as 100% complete before they actually complete. If you attempt to launch the application before the download actually completes, the following error message appears: “The Requested offline application is not yet downloaded.”

    [#238982]

  41. The number of handles held by the Streaming Service increases with the number of users launching applications in streamed to server scenarios.

    [#239039]

  42. Offline applications that are streamed to client using the http/https protocols fail to launch.

    [#240519]

  43. A file lock causes the RadeCache to default to the older profile folder for the user if the operating system duplicated the older profile folder. Such folder duplication occurs when you delete a user profile but not its immediate parent folder; in that case, the operating system creates a duplicate folder with a .DomainName extension.

    [#241148]

  44. Applications configured for Offline access are not properly accepting command line parameters passed from the Delivery Services Console.

    [#241369]

  45. The Citrix Streaming Service (Radesvc.exe) can make unexpected random exits.

    [#241845]

  46. Streamed to server applications do not support command line parameter passing if any of the parameters contain nested quotes (“”). This fix introduces support for the following command line delimiter: [/extracmdline]. The delimiter ensures successful parameter passing when publishing a streamed application from the console even if nested quotes are present.

To launch a streamed application with extended parameters from the command line, use the delimiter as in the following example:

    RadeRun.exe /app:”Winamp” /package:”\\czchowsint165\profiler$\WinAmp\WinAmp.profile” /extracmdline:” -add “c:\a \b \ c \d.mp3” switchA /switchb:”””[/extracmdline]

    [#242450]

  47. Streamed instances of Adobe Acrobat Distiller fail to launch.

    [#242864]

  48. Microsoft Office 2010 applications can consume more memory than expected when streamed.

    [#245000]

  49. Fonts of files attached to Microsoft Office Outlook emails and those opened from Sharepoint sites can be corrupted when opened with streamed applications.

    [#248855]

  50. If you publish Microsoft Word 2010 as streamed to server and enable file type association for it, attempts to open a Word document launch the application successfully but fail to open the document.

    [#252990]

  51. This feature enhancement allows administrators to add AppHubWhiteList entries while deploying the plug-in through Citrix Receiver.
