Disponibile Citrix License Server 11.9 per Windows (Build 11011)
E’ disponibile per il download la nuova build di Citrix License Server 11.9 per Windows, strumento indispensabile in ogni ambiente dove sono presenti prodotti Citrix, riconosciuta con il numero 11011.
La nuova release permette il corretto riconoscimento dei nuovi prodotto, in particolare XenDesktop 5.5 e XenApp 6.5.
Ricordo le principali funzionalità della 11.9:
- User/Device License Enforcement. Enforcement for the user/device license model based on unique user IDs and unique device IDs is available with XenDesktop 5 Service Pack 1 and XenApp 6.5 for Windows Server 2008 R2.
- udadmin. udadmin displays the licensed users and devices and enables release of the license assignment for specified users and devices.
- License Configuration Service. XenDesktop uses the License Configuration Service to install licenses, display basic license information, and enable the License Administration Console. Your license server must have domain membership for the service to start .
- Default License Administration Console access. By default, the License Administration Console is now configured for access only from the local host. If required, you can enable access from other trusted hosts by configuring the local firewall rule.
- Windows 7 support for the license server.
Per l’aggiornamento basta semplicemente avviare il pacchetto CTX_Licensing.msi: l’insteller provvederà automaticamente a fare l’upgrade di versione senza disservizio per gli utenti.
