Available HDX 3D ... but only for Citrix XenDeskop
The highly anticipated 3D HDX is now available for download for your platform XenDesktop: finally you can use 3D software development platform VDI.
The strengths of this product are:
-Support for DirectX and Direct 3D and OpenGL as well as all applications that require a GPU for the video
-Functioning as an add-on XenDesktop XenDesktop 3 and 3 FP1
-Automatic compression according to the available bandwidth; HDX allows a full desktop experience on a 100Mbit LAN, and an excellent desktop experience in a 2Mbit WAN with no latencies above 200ms. The VDI deventa reality for designers (architects, surveyors, graphic design studios)
-Monitor support for high definition (1920 × 200) in LAN, WAN in 1280 × 1024.
-Support environments Blade Workstation Windows XP Professional SP3 32bit
-Support for client plugins HDX 3d for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2003/2008 is 32 to 64bit
Honestly I expected also support for XenApp platform, were years I was looking for information. I thought with the new features of XenApp App VM Hosted FP2 would also benefit from the new technology HDX3d ... I hope for an update from Citrix as there are several dance projects with HDX 3D.
