Nine months after the first version, here is that Citrix releases new Major Release Receiver application for iPhone 2.0.

In this version there are several innovations, many of which flow from the experience of users through their feedback on the previous version.

Desktop entire session of a machine XenApp Windows 2008 64-bit.

I must say that with this new release have been many steps forward: the application is very fast and intuitive, have added all the necessary settings and gesture users and above has been improved user experience. I have tested connection with Edge, 3G and WI-FI DSL .. .. in all 3 cases are unable to use remote applications without any problems (some lag on Edge connectivity due to high latency).

I could not try to integrate with XenDesktop, but soon I'll update you can post that (I'm very curious to see if there's reboot of virtual machines).

Citrix Receiver for iPhone 2.0 is available through AppStore for free and install directly from your iPhone with Internet connection (either via Wi-Fi Edge/3G) or through iTunes from PC / MAC.

UPDATE: I'm running some tests connecting to Access Gateway Advanced Edition, but the application quits during authentication. I'm not sure if it is a problem of my iPhone, with environments Secure Gateway can not connect properly.
