Webinterface 5.3: Using Citrix Desktop Viewer instead of XenApp Online Plug-in for desktop XenApp

With the integration of XeApp and XenDesktop, we can use Desktop share from Windows 2003/2008 Terminal Server and Desktop from Virtual Machine or BladePC using the same Citrix Online plug-in 12.0.

If you noticed, by installing the Citrix Online Plug-in 11.5 or 12.0 and opening the Desktop posted a Windows 2008 server farm, the client will use the Citrix Desktop instead of the traditional Online Viewer Plug-in, the client optimized for resize Real-time resolution and other interesting features once reserved only for XenDesktop.

Going to upgrade to the new webinterface version 5.3, without in any way change the configuration, instead of Citrix XenApp desktop re Desktop View will once again be opened with Citrix Online Plugin (say, the method of "traditional" up to version 11.0) .

Test: Google Chrome OS VM Image

chrome For several days is available for download the first version of the operating system discussed Google Chrome OS, compatible with VMware virtual machine format and VirtualBox.

I did download the file at this address (after registration) and I imported the uncompressed disk vmdk on my VirtualBox 3.0.12
