Veeam annuncia il supporto a Microsoft Hyper-V
Veeam, leader indiscusso in ambiente VMware per quanto riguarda il backup, replica e gestione dell’infrastruttura virtuale, ha annunciato che la prossima release di Veeam Backup & Replication supporterà anche l’hypervisor di casa Microsoft, Hyper-V.
L’annuncio ufficiale è arrivato il 16 Maggio in occasione de Microsoft Tech·Ed.
Ecco le maggiori funzionalità:
- Image based backup and replication
- Support for Change Block Tracking
- Deduplication and compression
Per adesso non ci sono ulteriori informazioni: il prodotto sarà disponibile nel quarto quadrimestre 2011.
Veeam Backup & Replication for Microsoft Hyper-V is being demonstrated this week in booth #715 at Tech·Ed and will be available to customers in the fourth quarter of 2011.
