Disponibile Citrix Merchandising Server 2.2

E’ disponibile per il download la nuova Virtual Appliance (XenServer e VMware vSphere) di Citrix Merchandising Server 2.2, il sistema di distribuzione centralizzato di tutti i client Citrix.

Ecco le novità:

  • Support for 2048-bit or greater key size SSL certificates.
  • Support for Citrix Receiver on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
  • Support for LDAPS.
  • Increased security. Merchandising Server now uses Apache Tomcat 6.0.32, Apache HTTP Server 2.2.17, and OpenSSL 1.0.0d.
Non ho molta esperienza sul Merchandising Server: il sistema è veramente ottimo per grandi distribuzioni e per tenere allineati ed aggiornati tutti i client che accedono alla server Farm Citrix.
Farò sicuramente qualche test e poi una recensione.

citrix_logoCitrix ha rilasciato un aggiornamento di un articolo molto interessante: Come distribuire il client CitrixOnlinePluginWeb.exe Client 11.2 tramite Web Interface 5.0.1/5.1.2 .

E’ infatti ormai indispensabile eseguire la procedura documentata in quanto in fase di installazione di ambienti XenApp, il client contenuto sui media di setup non sono aggiornati.
