Oggi mi è capitata una cosa strana, non riuscivo ad installare il Virtual Desktop Agent di Citrix XenDesktop 7.6 su un virtual machine Windows Server 2008 R2.
Il risultato del setup portava a questo errore:

XenApp 6.5: impossibile installare qualsiasi hotfix “Installation ended prematurely because of an error” (1603)”

Mi è capitato in una installazione fresh di ambiente XenApp 6.5 su Windows Server 2008 R2 di ricevere l’errore “Installation ended prematurely because of an error” (1603)” .
La sua soluzione è veramente banale…
